Last evening, Davis Wright Tremaine hosted a reception for Three Degrees at its Seattle office. We delivered a version of the Thee Degrees slideshow, “Imagining a Warmer World,” and introduced our climate justice work to the Seattle legal and business communities. The University of Washington School of Law Dean, Kellye Testy, attended and shared a few words. The Dean described Three Degrees as a project that exemplifies the law school’s vision to cultivate Leaders for the Global Common Good. The University of Washington School of Law aspires to be the best public law school in the nation and one of the world’s most respected centers for interdisciplinary legal studies.

We were very pleased with the turnout and enjoyed the opportunity to share our work with the Seattle community. Thanks so much to all of you who joined us, as well as those who were unable to attend but who continue to nurture and support the project.

Craig Gannett, Partner at Davis Wright Tremaine, introduces Jen and Jeni.

Jeni thanks Professor Bill Rodgers, Jr., for his mentorship.

Mike Lufkin, Senior Environmental Strategy Manager at Port of Seattle, and Jen Marlow talk about ways to further climate justice work in Seattle.
